I am feeling so blessed today. We got to spend the day celebrating my husband's birthday! We got him sushi, a pinata (thanks to our oldest!), ice cream cake, all our girls together, and gifts that he actually likes.

He is the most amazing husband and father and I wish we could celebrate him every day, but he refused to let us give him two separate birthday celebrations. 🙄😂 Maybe next year we can surprise him with a second celebration, he'll never see it coming!

Now we get to go back to our standard business routines. Don't forget to take a moment to tidy up your categorizations this week, a few minutes of dealing with your transactions will make the rest of the week/month run smoother. 👩‍💼

Running a small business takes so much time and energy. My clients who own businesses put their entire heart into their businesses and do a ton of behind‑the‑scenes work that most people never see. If you’re a business owner, I hope you’re really taking today off (like actually off, not "sort of checking emails" or "just this one thing" kind of day off).

Holidays are a good reminder that rest isn’t a reward; it’s part of keeping your business healthy by helping yourself avoid burn-out.
