It's no longer a secret... changes are in the works at BCG.
One change is that we are accepting new small business clients.
Another is the we are completing our QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification.
Third we have a new phone number that was installed this week.
To inquire about services please call 479-231-1308 and leave a message. **Note** This a phone line equipped with captions where your side of the conversation will run through a relay operator who will type what you say so that I can read it. If you have a caption phone my side will also go through a relay operator, though not the same one. For those of you who call and have never used relay services before please be prepared for a 2-5 second lag in the conversations while the operator finishes typing.... YES... even your voicemail is typed and saved.
For the past 5 years we have operated BCG on a part time basis while I worked off the reservation as the regional Revenue Assurance supervisor for a company that has been the broker for a State administered program that provided Medicaid recipients with non-emergency transportation to doctors appointments and other services covered under the contract.
With 17 subcontractors (18, if you count our own driver pool) my assistant and I processed and average of 10 -13,000 trips every 15 days. Processing included audits of incoming data for accuracy and completion, legibility and other items that could be construed as fraudulent. With the assistance of an audit program that I wrote we also examined the digital record to be sure that any changes made by the CSR staff or the logistics staff were translated correctly and that the correct payment was made to the subcontractors. We also corrected errors that had a direct effect on reports run at the CFO level pertaining to cost analysis. Finally, we issued the provider's final invoice to them along with details of claim denials and an explanation of why denials happened.
Yesterday company's contract ended and a new broker takes over on Monday.
For the next two weeks I will be processing the final two cycles production. What would normally be done 4 weeks will be crammed into two weeks and my time with the company will come to an end on July 14.
