Tax deadline is just a few days away ⏳
I took today to rest, recharge, and spend time with my kids so I can head into these final days focused and ready to finish strong for all of you 🤍
I’ll be working extended hours this weekend (including Saturday and Sunday) to get remaining returns completed. My goal is to have everything wrapped up by April 14th.
With that being said, please make sure you are:
• Ready for me to submit your return
• Prepared to pay your invoice
• Prepared to pay your tax balance OR set up a payment plan with the IRS
I will not be working up until midnight on April 15th waiting on final approvals, payments, or decisions. My priority is submitting accurate returns in a timely and stress-free way for everyone.
Also, a quick reminder — if you are self-employed and showing a net profit, owing taxes is normal. That means your business made money.
Nothing was done incorrectly — this is simply how the numbers work when income increases and taxes were not prepaid. When you have a W-2 job, taxes are taken out of each paycheck throughout the year. When you are self-employed, those taxes are not automatically taken out, so they are due when you file.
This is why making estimated quarterly tax payments is so important — it helps avoid large balances at the end of the year.
I truly appreciate all of my clients who have been responsive, prepared, and understanding during this busy season 🤍
