Summer is winding down, making this a good time to take a step back and check in on your financial picture.

Before heading into fall, consider:
🔹Has anything significant changed in your income, family, housing, or plans?
🔹Are your financial priorities still the same?
🔹Are there decisions you should address before year-end?
🔹Does your investment strategy still fit your current situation?
🔹Is there anything you've been meaning to revisit, such as estate planning, insurance, or retirement income?
If something has changed this year—or there's an area of your financial plan you've been meaning to revisit—now is a good time to take a look.

We make financial decisions all the time, often without giving them much thought. Saving a little more when your income increases. Automating a good financial habit. Giving unexpected money a purpose. Taking a moment before making a large purchase. None of these decisions may seem significant on their own, but small choices repeated over time can add up.

What does financial confidence actually feel like? It isn't always tied to a certain account balance or the latest market performance. More often, confidence comes from knowing you have a plan and understanding how today's decisions support your long-term goals.

Ask yourself: What would make you feel more financially confident a year from now?

The answer is different for everyone, but identifying it is a great place to start.

If something unexpected happened, would your loved ones know where to find your will, insurance policies, financial accounts, powers of attorney, or password information?

Taking a few hours to organize these documents won't change your investment returns, but it can make an already difficult time much easier for the people you care about. It's one of those simple planning tasks that's easy to put off, yet incredibly valuable when it matters most.

When people think about retirement planning, the conversation usually starts with money. While financial goals matter, deciding how you want to spend your retirement matters too.

What will give your days purpose? What experiences have you been putting off? Who do you want to spend more time with?

Whether your answer is traveling, volunteering, learning a new skill, or simply enjoying a slower pace, it's worth giving those questions as much thought as your investment strategy. The goal isn't simply to retire. It's to build a retirement you'll truly enjoy.

Financial headlines change daily. One day it's inflation, the next it's interest rates, tariffs, or the latest market prediction. Truth is, some of the most important financial decisions have very little to do with predicting what the market will do next. Staying focused on your goals, reviewing your plan as life changes, and making thoughtful decisions over time matters most. If it's been a while since you've revisited your financial plan, this may be a good time to check in.

Most people accumulate accounts over time, like old 401(k)s, IRAs, brokerage accounts, bank accounts, and insurance policies. While each account may have served a purpose, together they can make your financial life more complicated than it needs to be. If you'd like to discuss whether there are opportunities to simplify accounts, I'm happy to discuss.

If you had $100 in 1928, what would you do with it?

• Keep it safe in cash?
• Lend it out?
• Invest in the market?

Over time, small decisions can lead to dramatically different outcomes.

Take a look at how it plays out and what it might mean for your own plan.

A simple lesson about time and discipline.

Markets have been moving quickly lately, prompting headlines that can uncertainty.
Instead of asking “What just happened in the market?”
Ask “What has actually changed for me?”

⚪ Has your timeline changed?
⚪ Have your goals shifted?
⚪ Has your plan meaningfully changed?

If the answer is no, reacting to every swing can pull you off track. Sometimes the most productive move is to stay grounded in the plan you’ve already built.
