To trust or not
Do you find yourself asking why your client has ghosted you or stopped responding? The better question to ask is, “Do they trust you?”


Trust is a cornerstone of the cannabis industry.


This industry is full of things that lay dormant for a long time. And it doesn’t matter who you are associated with, how successful, or how big you are.

It all begins with trust. How you treat your clients when they call, text, or email. How do you make them feel?

Are they a number or an important part of your everyday life? Do you offer to be their sounding board? Or even better to be involved with them through thick and thin?

If you think back to when all this was the black market, those people needed to trust you with their lives, they needed you to avoid bringing new people around, to follow through on your promises, and to not risk them or their families. It is the same now, even in the regulated market.

These clients want to know you have them, you’ll do them right, you’ll be there when they are audited, and you’ll be truthful through it all. That when they hire you, you are the best candidate for the job. Remember, they are paying good money to have this relationship.
So, use your intuition and your heart to make good judgements, the ones you would make if you were in their shoes. Give them your best and you will reap the rewards.

Allow me to RE-Introduce myself to you, my name is Krystal L Poe and I am the President and CEO of Kota Tax and Node Accounting located here right here in the Midwest. Sioux Falls, South Dakota to be exact. Last year I had some bumps in the road, but I have recovered and I am taking this state, and others, by storm with the strongest team I could have asked for, even if I built each of them myself. I don’t do bookkeeping, I don’t do accounting, that’s what I have built my team for. What do I do? I am the compassionate one, the empathetic one. I hold your hand while all the scary 280E stuff is going on, when you need an ear to vent to, when you need someone to come by and help organize something, or you need a person to help you with a specific issue. I am your go to girl. I can also do taxes with my eyes closed. I have been doing that for 10 years. So, what I am saying here now is in a few days you are going to see some massive changes in Kota Tax and Node Accounting, and we are here to stay and to support you..
