Professional and Volunteer Activities:
Ellen Anne Adesso is a member of the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants (NJSCPA) and on various state committees, served a two year term as Trustee on Board of Trustees of NJSCPA. She served a two year term as President of the Somerset/Middlesex Chapter of NJSCPA serving a membership of approximately 1,900 CPAs. Ellen Anne Adesso is an adjunct professor at Rutgers University School of Business, Department of Accounting and Information Systems since 1997. In 2002 she was recognized for her teaching excellence by the Rutgers School of Business. She has served as a director of Rutgers University Part Time Lecturer Chapter of AAUP which is the collective bargaining unit for the faculty of Rutgers University. Ellen has served as the Treasurer of The Holiday Project a national non-profit organization dedicated to providing visits to people in institutions particularly during the Christmas and Chanukah season. Also served in various other managerial capacities since 1985 including state chairperson. Currently, the firm is engaged as the organization's outside accountant. She was also a lecturer and facilitator for the Women's Financial Information Project developed by AARP and sponsored by Rutgers Co-Operative Extension. Out of this work she developed a workshop for individuals on basic financial investment research sponsored by Rutgers Co-Operative Extension. She was a director and President of Board of Directors of Resources, Inc. The organization provided case management services and social activities for the mentally handicapped of Middlesex County and Franklin Township. She currently serves as a Trustee for the Garden State Mastiff Rescue, Inc. which purpose is to rescue unwanted English Mastiff Dogs also to improve their health and place them in appropriate homes. She was a member of Franklin Township League of Women Voters for the years 1980-1988.
