A few weeks ago, our delivery van was involved in a serious accident while bringing milk and meat to our customers across Western New York. Morgan, one of our Erba Verde employees, was behind the wheel and thankfully walked away with only minor injuries. We are so grateful for that. Vans and product can be replaced. People can’t.

Still, the accident hit our small farm hard. We lost the entire delivery of milk and meat, and the van itself was totaled. Morgan will be out of work for about a month while she recovers, and because workers’ compensation doesn’t cover her full wages, she’s facing a real financial gap through no fault of her own.

Where your support would go:

Our goal is to raise $8,000. A portion of the funds will go directly to Morgan, to help cover the wages workers’ comp won’t while she heals. She has given so much to this farm and this is our chance to give a little back to her.

The rest will help us replace our delivery van sooner than insurance alone will allow. That van was only recently purchased and has is been one more the bridge between connecting our farm and to our community. The faster we can get back on the road, the faster we can get back to doing what we love: bringing fresh, quality milk and meat to the families and communities of WNY.

We want to be honest. Asking for help doesn’t come naturally to us. We’re used to being the ones who provide for those around us. Farming has always been a community effort, and we’ve been humbled time and again by the kindness of the people we serve. If you’re able to contribute, every dollar truly helps. And if you’re not, we completely understand. We kindly ask instead that you share this page, send a kind word, or simply continue to support local farms. It would mean just as much to us.

A big moment for this small town! 🏆

East Aurora has been named as one of two winners in the Northeast, alongside Montpelier, Vt., in PARADE Magazine’s America’s Favorite Small Towns competition and is officially a finalist for the national title.

Featured in PARADE’s latest issue, East Aurora is recognized for the history, charm, and experiences that make it such a special place to visit, including the Roycroft Campus, Vidler’s 5 & 10, the Aurora Theatre, and so much more.

Thank you to everyone who helped support East Aurora throughout the voting process. We’ll be cheering it on when the national winner is announced on June 12! 👏
