Today is tax day. To celebrate all our hard work, Wayne got us pizzas from local Sparta pizzerias for a blind taste test. The office was split down the middle. Nicole and Kaley voted for one and Adrian and Sabrina voted for the other. Wayne was a tie breaker for the office favorite. Last year it was donut shops. I think we found a new tax day tradition.

Predatory "Tax Services"?
While in a shopping establishment, I saw a set up for "Tax Serivces". Being a CPA, I know the Tax filing for 2025 isn't open, so what is going on? Reading the fine print, there is no Tax service offered. This is a predatory loan based on your expected tax refund done by a chain Tax preparation company that is obviously taking advantage of holiday cash crunched demographics. This is why you hire a reputable Tax Preparer. You should ask your local CPA what ethical standards we are held to. Maybe then you'd understand that not all Tax preparers are equal and should never be lumped into the same profession.
