Twin Lakes Services, Inc. is a well established commercial and residential Landscaping/Groundskeeping Contractor. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Assistant Foreman - someone who can step in as a crew member and grow into a skillful crew leader.

In this full time position, you will help our Company Foreman with a variety of daily organizational tasks that help keep the business running smoothly. Once you have been trained in, you will manage property service plans and work side-by-side with your crew as a crew leader/supervisor. When you come to work with a passionate outlook

• This position is full time Spring, Summer & Fall with some overtime. Early mornings and some Saturdays required. Some winter work available, especially when it snows.
Assistant Foreman Responsibilities:
• The Assistant Foreman will provide hands-on leadership.
• This position is responsible for the landscape and groundskeeping maintenance care of commercial and residential client properties within the Willmar, Spicer and New London area.
• Work in various weather conditions (6-10) hours per day.
• Although Horticulture and Landscape Maintenance Experience are not required for this position, we are looking for someone who is passionate about learning horticulture and will flourish with the company.
• The position must conscientiously respond in a timely, courteous, knowledgeable, and efficient manner to clients’ and management needs/requests.
• Work alongside and manage several crew members (typically 2-3) to accomplish daily/weekly/monthly service commitments.
• Understand and comply with the company's productivity requirements, policies, and safety regulations.
• Maintain a safe working environment while producing timely and quality job results.
• Provide instruction and quality control to crew members for proper installation of plants, trees, mulch, edging products, etc. (will train new assistant where needed).
• Requires time management skills that will help crews meet budgeted hours. This involves maintaining vehicles/equipment, routing crews/schedules, reviewing daily time sheets, and managing/documenting production.
• Requires logging fuel/equipment/chemicals/materials usage and more.
• Any additional duties requested by Foreman and Management.
Qualified applicants must:
• have a valid Driver's license and have reliable transportation.
• be able to drive a work truck pulling a trailer of equipment.
• be willing to learn procedures for the use and maintenance of equipment
• be able to lift 50 lbs.
• be very attentive to detail.
• have good communication skills with team members and supervisors.
• listen to and receive instructions (written/verbal) and respond appropriately.
• understand what it takes to successfully maintain a professional image.
Preferred Skills:
• We will train for particular skills
• Management experience is a plus
• Active outdoor experience is a plus
