We finally got to bring Lisa, our amazing remote Tax Manager, all the way from Boston to our home base! We introduced her to the Alamo, the Riverwalk, real Tex-Mex, and the charm of San Antonio. It was a blast having her in the office for a few days, and we’re already looking forward to her next visit!

This past weekend was a special one for the Myres CPA team as we celebrated Brittney Anderson’s official swearing-in ceremony with the Texas State Board of Public Accountancy in Austin, Tx.

Earning the CPA designation represents years of dedication, perseverance, and commitment to the accounting profession. We are incredibly proud of Brittney and this significant milestone in her career. Her hard work, integrity, and passion for serving clients make her a tremendous asset to our team and the clients we serve.

What made the weekend even more meaningful was the opportunity to celebrate alongside Brittney’s father, who received special recognition for 50 years as a CPA. For both Brittney and Trevor, he has been more than a respected professional. He has been a mentor, teacher, and example of what it means to serve clients and the profession with excellence, and they have both had the pleasure of learning under him throughout their careers.

To witness one generation being recognized for a lifetime of dedication while the next generation begins their journey as a CPA was a powerful reminder of the impact that mentorship, hard work, and professional integrity can have across decades.

Opening Day at Bulverde Little League was a home run! ⚾️

We loved being out at the fields supporting our community and seeing families and young athletes excited for a brand-new season. A special highlight was welcoming former Texas Rangers player Mark Teixeira, who threw out the first pitch and shared an inspiring message with the kids. Our boys even got the chance to meet him and leave with signed baseballs — a day they won’t forget!

We are so proud to support Bulverde Little League and be part of such a great community tradition. If you happen to miss us at the office, check the baseball field. Here’s to a great spring season!
