Heyyy everyone. I’m going to be reaching out to all the folks i habe catching up I have to do after my hospital stay and for my corps and llcs for mid year reviews. Currently we are having a technical issue with our 352-540-8219 phone number. It may be resolved tonight at midnight. Please say prayers had to reach out to apple support and they literally made me wait 15 hours for an update when all I needed was help resetting my Apple ID password. I keep saying this but to access the software to make our Jobs easier it is taking more and more steps , almost like a maze to get you into the software. We are getting overly technical and it’s becoming a hinderance rather than an aid to allow you to work more efficiently. If you need us before Tuesday if this isn’t

🇺🇸 4th of July Tax Bulletin 🇺🇸
As we head into the 4th of July weekend, I wanted to send out a quick update.
We’ve seen an uptick in letters from both the IRS and the Florida Department of Revenue. There doesn’t appear to be any pattern—they’ve been pretty random. The good news is that most of the notices we’ve seen have been resolved fairly easily with the right documentation, phone calls, letters, or faxes.
One thing I’d like to remind everyone: if you realize you missed something on a prior year’s tax return, please let me know. Don’t assume the worst. In many cases, we can find a tax credit, deduction, or write-off that offsets the issue, and sometimes you may not owe anything at all. The sooner we know about it, the more options we have.
Over the next few weeks, I’ll also be reaching out to some clients for mid-year tax reviews if there are planning opportunities or important information you should know before year-end.

Seems like the IRS never rests . Recently We have had an uptick in IRS letters various things. We have met sen anything major that can be resolved with fully completing a tax return where a form were left ou or if someone had forgotten to include a 1099 for temporary work that they taxpayer forgot to report. If the irs wants proof of your write offs be sure to document as best you can , both digitally and in paper form. Give us a call if you recently received anything we can probably handle it more easily than you may think or if you are in a situation that you would like to get resolved it’s always better for you to come forward than for them to have to catch it and remind you. Holy hamburgers, Batman!!!! Easter weekend is finally upon us, and Cheri Morelli and I are finally going to take some much needed time off to unwind, destress in order to come back and make this the most epic comeback Affordable Tax And Financial LLC has ever seen. We will be out of the office from Friday the 3 rd until Tuesday the 7th. This does not mean we won’t be accepting virtual returns sent via email and telephone/ FaceTime tax prep sessions I’f need be. Thank goodness for my background in retirement planning. A returning client came to me today. Last year I got her a sizable refund but this year she received a significant raise at work and brought in $107,000 as a single filer. I asked her some qualifying questions and found out she financed a car and would have been eligible to write off all the interest paid on her vehicle but was over the income phase out limit of 100k. So I asked if she had any significant savings .She informed me that she did have a sizable amount of money that she was able to save over the years. So I advised her to go to her local bank and open a traditional Ira and make a contribution for the 2025 tax year. Everyone has all the way up until the 15th of April to do so in order to reduce tax liability for the prior year. The woman had plenty of money so moving the $7000 wasn’t an issue. By doing that she reduced her taxable income down to $100,000. Not only did she save by reducing her taxable income but by doing so she was now below the income phase out and was also now able to write off the interest she paid on her vehicle. She started out with a small $80 refund and is now getting back over $2000.00 from the irs . All by moving money from one bank account to another. I never even dreamed of being a tax professional in my life . I was very interested in the stock market and was fascinated by certain insurance products and retirement accounts. To gain a better understanding of how my products functioned in real life as a 19 year old young man. I went to tax school. I never thought by going down this path I would have created such a niche for myself in this industry and the advantage I would have over my competition. I always said it was Gods Plan . And over the last 20 years at this point I consider my clients as one big extension of my family and treat them as such. Thank you all for your support and trust . It means the world to me
