Filing an extension gives you more time to file your return, 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐩𝐚𝐲.

If you anticipate needing additional time, make sure you’re still estimating and submitting any taxes owed by the deadline to avoid unnecessary interest and penalties.

📌 A quick tip for anyone with an upcoming tax appointment:
Bring as much documentation as possible — W-2s, 1099s, investment statements, expense records, and anything else relevant. The more complete your information, the more accurate your estimate can be.

Getting a solid estimate filed with your extension can help minimize surprises and reduce potential costs down the road.
