Over Memorial Day weekend, a few of our team members made the most of the extra time with family, friends, and a little sunshine.
Financial Advisor Austin Korger started his weekend before most alarm clocks even think about going off. A 3:45 AM wakeup call led to a 13-hour brisket cook (with a one hour rest). Austin says the best part comes right after getting the brisket in the smoker, sitting on the patio with a cup of coffee while everything is still quiet and the neighborhood hasn’t woken up yet.
Client Services Coordinator Donna Saddison enjoyed time at Lake Pacawa with her husband Larry and granddaughter Ellie, celebrating her graduation from Stevens Point Area High School. This fall, Ellie will continue her education at UW–Madison, where she plans to study journalism with a sports focus. Congratulations, Ellie!
Financial Advisors Travis Rucinski, Mike Nerdahl, and Mike Wolbers spent part of the weekend out at Waupaca Country Club, taking full advantage of the warm, sunny weather. Having a PGA Professional in the group, Mike Wolbers made sure the round stayed competitive, whether Travis and Mike N. were ready for it or not. Mike Nerdahl also celebrated his son Mason’s 14th birthday, bringing some youthful energy to the green. Somewhere along the way, it was confirmed, Mason has already outgrown his dad.
You could spend a weekend a thousand different ways. This is just how a few of ours chose to do it.
