🏈 A proud moment for the Nerdahl family!

Private Wealth Advisor Mike Nerdahl's son, Mason, recently competed in the Wisconsin All-State Game after being nominated by a middle school football coach and selected among some of the state's top young football players.

Mason earned First Team honors on both offense and defense as an Offensive Guard and Defensive Tackle, made a game-saving open-field tackle, and was recognized as one of six standout players across both teams. His Blue Team also came away with a hard-fought 8-6 victory, earning championship rings to celebrate the accomplishment.

Congratulations to Mason on an incredible achievement! Your hard work, dedication, and talent have already taken you far, and we have no doubt this is only the beginning. We can't wait to see what comes next!

Today, we're celebrating Mike Nerdahl, Partner and Private Wealth Advisor at Alacrity Wealth Advisors. Mike is a valued member of our team who is known for his willingness to support colleagues and contribute to the success of the practice, often bringing humor and positivity to those around him.

Outside the office, Mike enjoys spending time with his family. He and his wife, Stephanie, stay busy with their three boys, Ayden, Mason, and Paxton, and their many sports and activities. Mike is also active in the community as a coach and Treasurer for Amherst Youth Football & Cheer, dedicating his time to supporting local youth programs.

Mike, thank you for your leadership, friendship, and contributions to our team. We hope your birthday is filled with laughter, family, and celebration.

Financial Planning Intern Avrey Clarner didn't arrive at Alacrity Wealth Advisors by accident. He arrived with a clear vision of where he wants to go.

A senior at UW-Stevens Point studying Accounting and Finance, Avrey's path toward financial planning was shaped long before his internship began. What started as a personal interest eventually became a career pursuit.

Since joining the team, he has embraced opportunities to learn directly from advisors, participate in client conversations, and gain firsthand experience in the profession he's working toward.

Avrey is the second of four interns we'll be introducing this summer. Each brings a different story, perspective, and reason for pursuing this profession.

Our team recently participated in the Portage County Business Council’s Pack the Pantry food drive, helping support local families during the summer months when the need is especially high.

We’re proud to have contributed to both the Interfaith Food Pantry in Plover and Operation Bootstrap and Community Thrift Food Pantry in Stevens Point. Supporting the places our clients and team call home is important to us, and opportunities like this make it easy to get involved. We appreciate the chance to give back in a meaningful way.

P.S. A thank you to Avrey and Drew, our summer interns in Stevens Point, for helping pack and deliver donations to both Metro Market locations. And Drew, my apologies that the only photo I captured of you with all the non-perishables happened to be mid-blink.

Financial Planning Intern Ella Paquette did not arrive at Alacrity Wealth Advisors to observe, she arrived ready to contribute.

A rising junior at the UW-Madison, Ella studies finance, investment banking, and risk management. She was raised in Shullsburg, Wisconsin, a small town along the Illinois border about 20 miles from Platteville. There, discipline, consistency, and close relationships were part of her foundation.

Within her first month, she moved beyond observation and into active participation, gaining exposure to how advice is shaped, how trust is earned, and how decisions are made in real time.

Inside the office, she is already building a reputation for thoughtful questions, steady energy, and a genuine interest in understanding the “why” behind the work.

Ella is the first of four interns we will be introducing this summer. Three more perspectives are coming, each with their own path and approach.
