This past weekend I volunteered to help out at the Connecticut Special Olympics. I was so impressed with the athletes and their Olympic spirit. Experiences like this are a powerful reminder of how important thoughtful planning can be for families navigating special needs considerations. May is National Disability Insurance Awareness Month. I find this is often an overlooked insurance. If you have group coverage at work, make sure you are aware of any limitations.
