As earlier this month we celebrated 250 years strong as a nation, today we want to put the spotlight on our state, Pennsylvania.

Pennsylvania is honored each year on July 20th, which is called National Pennsylvania Day, honoring its importance as the second state to ratify the U.S. Constitution.

On this day, Pennsylvania is recognized for its rich history, culture, landmarks, and many contributions to the nation. Pennsylvania is known as the birthplace of the Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution. Pennsylvania has been home to many historic and iconic people, including William Penn, Betsy Ross, Benjamin Franklin, James Buchanan, Octavius Catto, Andrew Carnegie, Daniel Boone, Elizabeth Cochran, and many others. Nicknamed "The Keystone State" due to the importance of a keystone typically being the last stone put in place to make a bridge stable, earning this nickname for its vital role in holding together and shaping the United States.

We are proud to be part of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania's past, present, and future stories. Here's to the people, businesses, and traditions that continue to make the Keystone State strong.
