Some interesting news for penalty relief from the IRS!

IR-2026-83, July 8, 2026 — The Internal Revenue Service today announced a new automatic process to provide penalty relief for taxpayers with a history of filing and paying on time, reducing the need for them to request assistance.

The IRS released the 2026 business mileage rate - see below!

IR-2025-128, Dec. 29, 2025 — The Internal Revenue Service today announced that the optional standard mileage rate for business use of automobiles will increase by 2.5 cents in 2026.
