To all our valued clients, we truly appreciate your support and hope to continue growing alongside you in 2022. If you have not done so already, please take a moment to write a review on Google and/or Facebook, share this post, and forward our contact information to any family or friends who are in the market for a new CPA.

As we prepare for the upcoming tax season (in more ways than one), there are a few ways to help the process go smoothly:

Please make note of our new address - 759 SW Federal Highway, Suite 204A, Stuart, FL 34994.

If you have not done so already, please register for the secure file exchange located on our website. This is the safest way to send your documents in (if not mailing or dropping off in person). This also give us the opportunity to provide digital copies of your tax returns.

Businesses, begin planning out year-end procedures. This includes:
• Separating any personal expenses from business expenses.
• Reconciling bank accounts, credit cards, and loan accounts to ensure all activity is being recorded & balances tie to year-end statements.
• Update your fixed asset register. Add any new fixed assets that were purchased this year & remove any fixed assets that were sold/disposed of.

Individuals, there are some new (and not so new items to keep in mind):
• Please hold on to your Notice 1444-C that the IRS will be mailing out early next year. These provide the amount you received for the third economic impact payment (stimulus check).
• Parents, have you been receiving advance Child Tax Credit payments? The IRS will be mailing out Letter 6419 early next year which will list the total amount of advance Child Tax Credit payments that were disbursed to you in 2021.

We are partnering with a local church and raising money for turkeys to send out with Hope Baskets this Thanksgiving season! It is our goal to impact as many families as possible, so as an incentive Wolf Accounting & Tax Services will be offering all clients a discount on their upcoming tax prep fees for every dollar given (up to $25). Tomorrow is the deadline to submit your 2019 tax return. If you need to file, we are still accepting new clients and can file an extension on your behalf if needed!

Looking for your stimulus check? Click the link below, select the "Get My Payment" button, enter your personal information and check the status of you check. If you do not have a bank account on file with the IRS, you will have the opportunity to add your account information in order to receive your check faster via direct deposit. Feel free to reach out with any questions!

Have questions related to the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act? Brian Mast and his team did a great job putting together FAQs pertaining to the $350 billion allocated to help small businesses keep their workers employed. Loan proceeds used on eligible expenses (payroll costs, mortgage interest, rent, utilities, etc.) can be forgiven. Had a great time last night at the Salute to Stuart Hangar Party presented by CenterState Bank. It was an amazing display of support and a promising start to ensure that the Stuart Air Show will go on. A select group of students from the Visionary School of Arts auctioned off their aviation paintings and I was lucky enough to walk away with this one! Can't wait to find a space to display it in the office.
