Let's break it down with some money math.

In a general dental practice, revenue should typically follow a 2/3 to 1/3 split:

• Two-thirds from doctor production
• One-third from hygiene production

That means a target of $1.5 million in annual revenue:

• $1 million from doctor production
• $500,000 from two hygienists

Now let's talk daily production.

Take the doctor's $1 million.

Divide it by 12 months.

Then divide it by 16 working days per month.

A solo doctor needs to produce approximately $5,208 per day to stay on track.

Now let's look at hygiene.

Take the $500,000.

Divide it the same way.

That's $2,604 per day from hygiene, or $1,302 per hygienist per day.

This isn't magic.
