LIMITED CLIENT OPENINGS

Mjenzi Consulting, LLC

Build stronger financial systems. Get compliant. Position your business for real growth.

I’m opening a small number of client spots as part of my ongoing commitment to helping local and regional businesses, nonprofits, and self-employed individuals get organized, stay compliant, and move with intention.

This timing isn’t random. A lot of service-based businesses feel it every year around this time. Late summer tends to slow things down. People are traveling, getting ready for school, and tightening spending a bit before things pick back up.

Across many markets—especially in service-based, seasonal, and self-employed industries—you can see this pattern clearly. Activity dips in late summer, then builds again heading into Q4 as operations ramp back up and year-end planning begins.

Instead of just riding it out, this is actually a good window to get your foundation right—clean up your books, tighten your systems, and get ahead of Q4 instead of reacting to it.

For a limited time, I’m taking on a small number of new and returning clients.

5 BUSINESS STRATEGY SESSIONS

For business owners, nonprofits, and self-employed individuals who need clarity and a real plan they can act on.

We can focus on things like:

• How your business is structured and operating day to day
• Pricing and revenue strategy
• Financial organization and decision-making
• Bookkeeping and tax concerns
• Nonprofit setup and development
• Compliance issues and reporting requirements
• Planning your next stage of growth

4 BUSINESS FINANCIAL RESET SESSIONS

For business owners, nonprofits, or self-employed individuals who know their numbers aren’t where they need to be and want to get back on track.

This may include:

• Reviewing your bookkeeping and financial records
• Cleaning up categories and reconciling accounts
• Preparing profit and loss and balance sheet reports
• Identifying missing or inconsistent records
• Getting you tax-ready and organized
• Creating a clear corrective action plan

3 NONPROFIT COMPLIANCE & REPORTING SESSIONS

For nonprofits that need stronger structure around reporting, documentation, and accountability.

This may include:

• Reviewing financial records and compliance status
• Grant reporting and reimbursement support
• Budget vs. actual reporting
• Payroll and program expense tracking
• Organizing supporting documentation
• Board and internal record review
• Preparing financial reports for stakeholders

2 GRANT WRITING & APPLICATION SUPPORT SESSIONS

For organizations ready to pursue funding with a stronger, more competitive application.

This may include:

• Reviewing grant opportunities and eligibility
• Building your application strategy
• Writing program narratives
• Strengthening your organizational story and need statement
• Developing budgets and budget narratives
• Organizing required documents
• Final review before submission

Grant funding is not guaranteed.

1 TAX PLANNING & YEAR-END STRATEGY SESSION

For business owners, self-employed individuals, or anyone with tax liability concerns who wants to be proactive about tax positioning before year-end.

This is the perfect time to evaluate projected tax liability for 2026 and make strategic adjustments before the year closes. We can also look at purchase timing, depreciation strategies, and other planning moves that may help optimize your overall tax position.

This session is focused on forward-looking strategy—not last-minute filing.

SPOTS ARE LIMITED

All engagements are first come, first served. A consultation and deposit may be required to secure your spot.

Tax Tip #2
A huge tax refund feels good — but let’s be clear about what it really is.

It’s an interest-free loan to the government that you gave all year.

What wealthy individuals actually do is different:
They adjust their W-4, plan with their accountant or tax preparer, and make intentional financial decisions throughout the year — not just at filing time.

When I work with clients, my sweet spot is simple:
👉 Plus or minus $500.

Anything way above or below that means we need to make adjustments — because money should be working for you, not sitting with the IRS.

Tax Tip #1
If you made money on the side, the IRS expects to see it — 1099 or not.

What really determines whether you owe or not isn’t the form…
It’s your records and your deductions.

This is where people usually get caught slipping.

If you’ve got side income and aren’t sure you’re handling it right, let’s talk.
