📬 Heads up, taxpayers!
A new USPS rule means that your tax return or payment might be considered late even if you mailed it on time.
The postmark date now reflects when the mail is first processed — not when you dropped it in the mailbox.
What to do:
✅ File electronically whenever possible.
✅ If mailing, ask for a manual postmark or Certificate of Mailing.
✅ Don’t wait until the last day!
We’re helping clients update their filing habits this 2026 tax season.
