Please note that there is a one-lane closure on M-55 in front of our office that starts today, July 7th due to construction. This work will require shoulder closures and single-lane closures with alternating traffic controlled by traffic regulators. The estimated end date is projected to be September 4th, 2026.

The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) will invest $621,269 to extend the center left-turn lane on M-55 from Wilber Road to the Tawas River in Tawas City.
