SC TAX REBATE

The South Carolina Department of Revenue is currently issuing the first round of rebates to eligible taxpayers who filed a 2021 SC Individual Income Tax return (SC1040)​ by October 17​. Rebates are being issued by direct deposit or mailed paper checks.

If you have a number on line 10 of your SC Tax Return you may qualify for a rebate up to $800.

You will then go here to track the status of the rebate:
https://dor.sc.gov/rebate-2022

If there is not a number there, then you do not qualify.

Note: If you received a SC tax refund, there is a BIG POSSIBILITY you do not qualify, but check line 10 of your 2021 Tax Return to be sure.
