WORD OF THE DAY: ID PIN

ID pin is short for IDENTITY PIN!! This is a unique number that the IRS change every year that is associated either with a taxpayer Social Security number, or the taxpayer dependent(s) Social Security number. More than 1 person on the tax return can have an ID Pin. Please remember to give this number to you tax preparer to avoid your tax return being REJECTED by the IRS!!
