Today we celebrate 3 years since AMH Tax Service opened! I'd like to introduce myself, my name is Amy Helsel. My grandmother Ruby Leffler started Leffler Tax Service about 50 years ago. Over the years various family members worked for the business. I started working there doing filing after school when I was 14. Eventually, while I was in college, I started doing taxes. I have now been doing taxes and bookkeeping for 25+ years.
My husband and I live in the Thornville area with our 7 kids. We met at the tax office about 30 years ago when he came in to get his taxes and bookkeeping done. Ruby kept trying to fix us up, and we both resisted. Those of you that knew my grandma, you knew she was strong willed and didn't take "No" for an answer! Needless to say we eventually relented and went out on that first date. We have been together now 28+ years and married for almost 23 years. As stated earlier we have 7 kids ranging from 21 to 2 years old. It's been an incredible 3 years since I opened AMH Tax Service and am proud to continue the legacy my grandmother started so many years ago! We have thoroughly enjoyed reconnecting with past clients from Leffler Tax Service and meeting new clients along the way! We appreciate each one of you! Our goal has always been to provide great service with a personal touch. We are working hard to grow our small family business. We offer more than just Tax preparation, we also offer bookkeeping and payroll as well. Thank you so much for trusting us to take care of your tax and accounting needs!
