Congratulations to Manny Essien on his appointment to the Board of Directors of the Ed Block Courage Foundation!

The Foundation’s vision is to break the cycle of abuse and neglect and lay the foundation for generations of safe, nurturing families. Through the Courage House National Support Network for Kids, the Foundation is helping abused, neglected, and at-risk youth find hope, healing, and a path toward brighter futures.

Financial planning is so much more than helping clients prepare for the future—it's about supporting the communities we serve. We're proud to share that Kobe Bolanos, one of our BFG Advisors, will be running the New York City Marathon this fall in support of the Ulman Foundation.

The Ulman Foundation provides housing and support for young adults (ages 18–39) with cancer and their caregivers, giving families a comfortable place to stay while receiving treatment in Baltimore. Their mission helps ease the financial and emotional burden during an incredibly difficult time.

This will be Kobe’s second—and, according to him, his "last" marathon... although that’s what he said last time!
