With quite a few changes this tax season, it would be beneficial to call and get your appointment scheduled sooner rather than later. Hey Everyone,

Just a quick update as to when the IRS will begin accepting tax returns for this year.

The IRS has announced that the official start to the 2024 tax season will be Jan. 29, the day the agency will begin accepting and processing 2023 tax returns. While the IRS will not begin accepting returns until then, the agency is encouraging taxpayers not to wait to work on their taxes regardless of whether they are using tax professionals or self-preparing. It noted that most software companies are currently accepting electronic submissions and holding them until the IRS is ready to begin processing.
