Hours this week are as follows:
Today (Monday) here til 8pm
Tuesday 8am to 8pm
Wednesday 8am to 5pm

Remember, if you don't owe, there will not be a penalty for filing after the 15th. If you believe you do owe and have yet to file, call us about an extension.

Finally, remember that your taxes must be picked up, signed, and paid for before sending. If you dropped off and haven’t been back.. now’s the time to come give us a visit again!

Well, we’ve officially made it to April and Tax Season will soon be coming to an end!

This is your friendly reminder…

That Your taxes are not submitted until signed AND paid for.

That means that if you have not yet stopped into the office to sign and pay for your return, the clock is running out! ⏰ And we have SEVERAL clients returns sitting here waiting to be finalized. Let’s make sure you are not one of them!

On a separate note..

If you have yet to schedule or bring in your documents, please note that at this point in the season we have very limited appointment availability before the filing deadline. Drop offs also will not be guaranteed to be finished before 4/15 at this point as well.

If you believe you owe on your taxes we suggest filing an extension for those needing it.

*There are no penalties for those filing after the deadline who do not owe.

If you are unsure the best course of action to get your return completed and where you fall into needing an appointment/extension or anything else, please simply give our office a call.

We thank you for your patience, gratitude, and understanding over the last three months and look forward to wrapping up these next two weeks!

Please be advised that our tax service hours will begin on the first week of February, once care arrangements for my sister are finalized. Until then, our regular office hours are Monday through Friday, 8 am to 4 pm. We offer flexible scheduling by appointment and have a secure drop box located outside our office for your convenience. Thank you for your understanding and patience during this time.

NO! WE ARE NOT CLOSED OR CLOSING! (JUST SLIGHTLY DELAYED IS ALL)

I have pondered and debated on whether to make this post, until I feel I have no choice.

On October 1st, 2025 my sister suffered a stroke leaving her paralyzed on the left side, non verbal and in need of 24/7 care. If there is one thing, this world has taught me in the last couple of years, it is that my family needs to come first. So on November 11th I brought her home from rehab as her sole caregiver. They tell you when you leave that you're going to have so much help from the the state, caretakers, housecleaners etc.

Until about two weeks ago, there was extremely minimal help. I was so not prepared! I am not complaining, and I am not looking for sympathy. Even knowing what I know now, I'd do it all over again. We have seen so many improvements and believe with the grace of God she will be walking again someday!

I feel it's important that my clients know that I have had no time to prepare for tax season this year. I'm doing the best I can. I feel like I say every year, "I'm not prepared" and we get through just fine but this year I'm honestly not so sure.

That being said, we have decided not to take many sit down appointments until February, when all help is in place for my sister. Fran has done a wonderful job getting ready, but it's more than any one person can handle.

February is already booking up and drop offs are already happening. There is so much this year that is new and so much we had to learn and are still learning. There are so many forms to fill out that are 100% necessary to cover our due diligence. Of course with all the changes and extra work, prices also are rising more than the normal increase. We are asking for your patience and understanding.

If you are a client we have never seen before or if you call and cannot get in as early as you would like, I do have a couple friends/colleagues that are enrolled agents that are willing to help with my caseload. These are people I trust. Two companies that charge about the same as us and are asking for the same information as we are. I realized I am taking the chance you may go there and never come back but, in leau of making you wait, I would rather give you names of people I trust who may be able to get to you earlier than we can. I have talked to them both and they will try to assist in in a timely manner. These two companies are:
