So many lessons learned in this run that apply to life and business. 1. You don’t know the road ahead. I expected this to be easy. It was not. It was hilly and hard and I wasn’t prepared, like I thought. This is often the case in life. You think you know the way until you hit the road and inevitably face traffic. 2. Life is about perspective. I use to live in Grand Blanc and drive in downtown Flint. I never knew it to be SO hilly. It wasn’t until I was running those hills that I gained a new perspective. Being in my my car never allowed me to appreciate those deffering elevations. Now I respect them. Lesson here is appreciate your position and appreciate others more when they struggle with what you drive through easily. You are in different places. Respect their position more than yours. Finally, like Olivia D said, I’m taking Ba -ba - baby steps. No PR today but all dawg. Proud to conquer this mountain.
