My name is Mandy Walker and I am the owner of Mandy Walker, P.A. I have a Bachelors in Accounting and a Master in Business Administration. I am a Certified Public Accountant and a member of AICPA and Arkansas State Society of CPA's. I serve on the Legislative Board with the Arkansas State Society of CPA's and I recently was appointed to the city council in the Town of Swifton. I have been an acco
untant and auditor for 14 years. I worked for 12 years with the Arkansas Division of Legislative Audit and 2 years in private industry. During my tenure with the Arkansas Division of Legislative Audit, I was a Senior Auditor, who was in charge of school districts, municipalities, higher educations and federal compliance audits. The federal compliance audits consisted of Title I, Child Nutrition, Special Education, ARRA, Gear-Up, Pell, FEMA, and Department of Defense. During my time in public practice I performed accounting, bookkeeping, payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, consulting and taxes for a variety of entities including: individuals, small businesses, farm operations, retail and health care. I believe every individual, business or government should have certain core values on which they are built. My firm is built on the core fundamentals of morals, optimism, responsibility, and ethics.
