One thing I hear all the time is:
“Why weren’t we taught this in school?”

Honestly… same. 😅

From budgeting to credit scores to retirement, so many people are trying to figure out “adult money” in real time. That’s why I’m always grateful for opportunities like this monthly segment on Channel 6—to help make financial conversations feel a little more understandable, approachable, and less intimidating.

One of my favorite reminders from this segment:
The best time to start was yesterday. The next best time is today.

Whether it’s budgeting, building an emergency fund, improving your credit, or finally starting retirement savings—even small steps matter.

Thankful to be able to combine financial planning, education, and real-life conversations in a way that hopefully helps people feel more confident about their money.

We’re hosting our next Better with Bamboo event: Packs for Pups—and this time, we’re partnering with the Tulsa Dream Center to support the individuals, families, and communities they serve.

Together, we’ll be assembling care packs for pets—because for many families, those animals are more than pets… they’re comfort, stability, and love.

Here’s the ask:

We came across a need from Ronald McDonald House Charities —an organization that provides a home away from home for families with children receiving medical care—and decided to meet it.

A simple wish list.
Everyday essentials.
Real impact for families walking through incredibly hard moments.

This is what Better with Bamboo looks like.
