If your transcript did not update today and you still do not have a date…please be patient! I understand and help is on the way! 📌
This tax year has had many delays with few updates. Please understand the IRS has had some changes this year. This is beyond any tax preparers control. ‼️
Some people have updated before they receive their money and I have had some that never updated on their transcript or where’s my refund.
A couple of things to remember in preparation for next year to prevent even more delays:
•make sure you have all your W2 forms before you file
•make sure you have your marketplace insurance form before you file (if applicable)
•make sure you have your mortgage statement from your financial institution before you file
Not providing these documents to your preparer can cause significant delays when processing! 📌
