Those who know me best know how deep my love for motorsports runs. Maybe I inherited it from my dad, or maybe it grew from my years as a mechanic and my appreciation for engineering and performance. Whatever the reason, there's just something about a fast car being pushed right to the edge that has always captivated me.
This weekend is one of my favorite events of the year: The Rolex 24 at Daytona.
Drivers from NASCAR, IndyCar, and even F1 come together for a 24‑hour test of speed, endurance, and teamwork. The crazy part? The fastest car usually doesn't win. It's the team that stays consistent, avoids setbacks, and makes smart decisions lap after lap that takes the checkered flag.
Financial planning works the same way.
You might have the "hottest" investment for a moment, but that doesn't mean it will carry you to long‑term success. Markets change. Conditions shift. What matters is having a team that monitors the gauges, spots issues early, and helps you make adjustments before problems become failures.
That's what we do at Raymond James.
We can't predict the future, but we can help you understand what's happening in the market and give you the information you need to make smart decisions for you and your family.
This weekend, I'll be pulling for the #31 Cadillac to bring home the overall win.
And I'd love the chance to help you reach your financial finish line, too.
