I’ve been a little quiet lately…

Not hiding. Just busy holding all the things together.

Still standing. Still showing up. Still doing the work.

So this is what I do for fun now apparently… 🧩🙃

Some people unwind with wine.

I stare at chaos and start organizing it piece by piece like a psycho.

And honestly?

This is exactly how running a business feels most days:

✔️ all the pieces are there
✔️ none of them are where they should be
✔️ and one is definitely hiding on the floor somewhere

Chaps 2 Cheers isn’t some polished “boss babe” thing.

It’s just me, keeping businesses (and myself) from losing their minds one puzzle at a time.

This is how I leave the house…

I put the treats out, tell them I’ll be right back, and explain very clearly:

👉 one treat an hour
👉 ration accordingly

They listen politely.

Then eat everything in 2 seconds flat, like I’ve abandoned them forever and they need comfort carbs 🤣

Apparently financial literacy does not apply to treats. 😂🐶🐶

Some people say ‘it’s been a day.’
Me? It’s been a day and a half… and it’s only 2pm. 🥴

✅ Went to the dump
✅ Cleaned out more of the tack room
✅ Gave the cow a bath (don’t ask)
✅ Loaded one (yes, just one) panel into the trailer 😂
✅ Hauled tack and drug galvanized water troughs from the paddocks
✅ ‘Fixed’ my fridge (quotes very much intentional)
✅ Laundry, laundry, laundry
✅ Put together Mom’s handicap bar… which doesn’t fit 🥹
✅ Washed sheets & comforters
✅ Vacuumed. Twice.

And yet… my to-do list still looks at me like I’ve done nothing. 🙃
Calling it a day before the day calls me crazy — tomorrow is another day

🐾 Win of the week?
One of my clients logged into QuickBooks without wanting to cry or cuss. That’s progress, my friend. 😅🎉

We cleaned things up, made sense of what was coming in 💸 and going out 💰, and now she actually knows where her money’s going.

Meanwhile I’m over here at my desk:
🐶 Dog at my feet
☕ Coffee in hand
🧾 Receipts everywhere like confetti

This stuff doesn’t have to be fancy. It just has to make sense.
