🥩 SEE YOU AT CROSSROADS AUCTION! 🥩

We’ll be there with all your beef and pork needs covered! 🐄🐖

Tim is stepping away from the combine seat for a bit to see some of his favorite customers. 🚜 Don’t worry, the combine will still be there when he gets back… and so will the work! 😂🌽

If you’re headed to Crossroads Auction, stop by and stock up!

🌾 Stop by and see us today at the Crossroads Auction! 🥩

It’s a busy time of year with harvest season in full swing, and we’ve got delicious farm-fresh beef and pork to help make mealtime a little easier!

❤️ Stock up on your favorites, and remember, our meats are perfect for those easy, hearty crockpot meals while you’re busy in the fields and other fall activities!

❤️ Can’t make it today? Come see us at the farm tomorrow from 8 AM to 12 PM! Take a drive out to beautiful Pittman Valley, enjoy the scenery, and stock up on some good, locally raised meat. 🌄🐄

🚜 A friendly reminder: Please be cautious of farm equipment on the roads as you travel this weekend. It’s a busy season for our farming families, and a little extra patience goes a long way!

We hope to see you soon! 🥰

💙 Pardon Tim today if he looks a little older, walks a little slower, or seems a little more tired… he has a SENIOR! 🥹🎓

Last night, we got to recognize our girl at Senior Night, and we’re still letting all those feelings sink in. Where has the time gone?!

So many of our customers remember when we first started this business and had a little blonde girl making videos and singing songs to help sell meat. 🎤🥩 Look at her now! ❤️

It’s amazing how fast time flies, and we’re so thankful for all the customers who have been part of our journey and watched her grow up right alongside our business.

So, stop by our stand, grab some meat, and help Tim feel just a little less old! 😂 Then head over to Aunt B’s Pizza to say hello to Aunt B, Uncle Dan, and big brother Jeffrey. They might be feeling a little old themselves after watching this girl grow up and cheering her on since she was just a little tike! ❤️

Grab some supper, spend time with your family, and soak up those little moments. Because one day, you’re watching them sing songs to sell meat, and the next thing you know, you’re celebrating Senior Night. 🥹

They really do grow up way too fast! ❤️🎓

Thanks for supporting our family business and being part of our story! 💙

In memory of Pap

This week is a tough one for our family.
Tomorrow, we celebrate my dad, our Pap’s, birthday. It still doesn’t seem possible that he will be celebrating from Heaven while we are here on earth, trying to navigate life, family, and the farm without him.

Pap was no stranger to our customers. Most Friday evenings (unless he was planting or harvesting corn), you could find him at our stand, sitting on a cooler and spending time with Tim, Janette, Lexi, Lyle, Logan - whoever happened to be working the stand that day.
It will always be Pap’s spot. ❤️

He solved many world problems from that cooler, haha. He talked with so many people and shared in their happiness, their struggles, and their grief. He made connections with people simply by being Pap. And honestly, the market just isn’t the same without him.

It’s still tough to work the stand and watch that vendor door open. For just a second, you find yourself hoping it will be him walking through.

Pap was the kindest, most caring soul we ever knew. Sometimes it was tough love — but it was always love. He did more for us and for my kids than I could ever put into words. He touched so many lives, and when I say he had no enemies, I truly mean it.

Our hope is that we can continue carrying Pap’s legacy through our family, our farm, and our business - continuing to be a positive light and always sharing love wherever we can.

So today, we aren’t asking you to stop and buy our meat.

We have a greater mission.
Be the light. ✨
In a world that can sometimes feel dark, do something positive. Be like Pap.
📞 Pick up the phone and call someone you love. Tell them.
❤️ Do something kind for a stranger.
🙏 Pray for someone who may need it.

And if you ever need an ear - or someone to help solve the world’s problems - there will always be a cooler to sit on at “Pap’s spot” at our stand.

We miss you more than words can say, Pap. But we will keep carrying your love with us and doing our best to make you proud.

God bless you all, and thank you for your continued support, love, and understanding as we navigate this life and this farm without Pap here with us. ❤️

Please note we will be CLOSED at the farm tomorrow to take time for family and the things Pap loved most.

Happy Birthday in Heaven, Pap. We love you.

We heard the weekend will be rainy! Maybe even too rainy for a Sunday football games?!?!

Sunday sounds like a good day to enjoy a meal around the table with family! Be sure to stop by the auction today for a delicious roast! Our family’s favorite Sunday dinner meal!

Good morning from Massachusetts… yep, you read that right! 😄 Lexi is set to take on the FFA competition at The Big E today! 🐄💪

While Mom is here cheering her on, Tim and the boys are holding down the farm. Tim will also be at the Crossroads Auction today, so give him a little grace if he’s running behind, he has a lot on his plate (besides beef 😉).

Tonight, our oldest son will take the field with the TV Dawgs as they battle Shenandoah! 🏈🐾

And on Sunday, our youngest will take the field with the Hegins Area Midget team as they battle Line Mountain! 🏈💙

If you’re running around as much as we are this weekend, you’re probably looking for some easy meals! Stop by and see Tim and grab some of our beef roasts , they’re perfect for the crockpot.

Our favorite way to make them? Put the roast in pickle juice instead of water! 🥒 And I’ve heard football players say pickle juice helps with cramping… just saying! 😂

📍 Lyle will be open at the farm tomorrow from 8-12.

We hope to see you this weekend! Thank you, as always, for supporting our small business and our family. ❤️🐄

Today, we remember one of the most significant and unforgettable days of our high school years.
What started as a normal school day quickly became unimaginable, a day we should never, and will never, forget.

As I sat in calculus , I was called to the office. I had no idea what I was about to hear. We were told there had been an attack on America, and our German exchange student, who had recently left our parents’ home, was in New York. I shared what I knew about her plans with the folks in the office and then headed back to calculus class, trying to process what was happening.

At the same time, Tim was sitting in ag class when the news began to spread. Like so many of us, he had no idea that this ordinary school day would become a moment permanently etched in our memories.

When I got home that evening, my dad had poured concrete for the new grain bin. Every time I see that date , 9/11, it serves as a reminder of that day and of how deeply it affected all of us.

Today, we are especially thankful for the brave first responders who ran toward danger to help others, and we remember all of the innocent lives lost and everyone whose lives were forever changed by the terrible events of September 11, 2001.

We remember. We honor. We will never forget. 🇺🇸

Tim will be at the auction today until 6pm until he travels to TV HS to watch the TV Dawgs play football and be recognized as a first responder. So - try to get there early today!

Tomorrow we will be open at the farm from 8-12.

School is back in session, but the farm work doesn’t stop!

Come see Lexi at the Gratz Auction today as she’s pulling double shift! She’s working the auction and staying home to milk so Tim can go watch Lyle play football tonight.

Go Dawgs!

This isn’t meant to be political… but if you buy your beef from us, rest assured, THIS is what you WILL get. 🐄❤️

🥩 Quality beef born and raised right here on our family farm and processed locally by Bixler’s Country Meats, another local family business.
When you buy from us, you’re not just filling your freezer with good beef (although you’ll definitely be doing that 😋).

You’re supporting TWO local family businesses that work hard, give back, and support so many clubs, organizations, and events throughout our valley.

And your beef?🥩

It was raised right here on our farm in Pitman PA where our cattle are treated humanely, with plenty of care, attention, and yes… probably a few conversations with them that they didn’t fully understand. 😂🐄

Our farm also practices conservation and works hard to be good stewards of the land we’ve been entrusted with. We believe in taking care of the animals, taking care of the soil, and taking care of the community that has supported us for generations.

So when you choose to buy local beef, you’re getting more than a steak.

You’re supporting a family farm. You’re supporting a local processor. You’re supporting your neighbors.
And you’re helping keep local agriculture strong.

Good beef.
Good people.
Good neighbors. ❤️

And, of course, a freezer full of beef is never a bad thing. 😉🥩🐄

Stop by the Crossroads Auction today or the farm tomorrow from 8-12!
