New today the United States Department of the Treasury and the IRS announced that due to the burden it would cause senior citizens, individual with disabilities, will NOT have to file a tax return to receive the Economic Impact Payment.
The IRS will use the information on the 1099 - SSA to generate 1200 payment. They will receive this payment just like they receive their monthly payment.

The IRS has informed us that those who normally aren’t required to file taxes will need to file a SIMPLE TAX RETURN in order to get a stimulus payment. At this time the IRS has not provide instruction on how this should be done. Filing these types of returns before we have IRS guidance, will create a problem for the taxpayers.
The IRS state’s that they would provide a web based portal in the coming weeks for taxpayers to provide direct deposit information if taxpayers didn’t provide it on either their 2018 or 2019 tax return. This portal is not available at this time.
I will provide more information on how to file taxes for those who need a simple return as soon as I receive it.

July 15 is now when individual income taxes are due. If you have already filed your tax return and owe, you still have until July 15 to pay.
