Wish, Dream, Plan, Do Make decisions now that your future self will thank you for

As a financial coach it is my privilege to walk beside and guide clients through their journey regaining control of their money. I assist them in creating monthly budgets that emphasize paying off debt, building a strong emergency fund, save for their kids' college education and invest in their own retirement. By building a relationship with my clients, listening to their priorities and dreams, I

help them stay focused and continuously work the plan we built together specifically to aid them in achieving their financial goals. I encourage and support during the rough patches and educate them so they understand the principles and purpose behind the Baby Steps plan.

Tonight's Financial Peace University class was my favorite lesson!
Insurance
Every member has at least one "oh, s**t" moment during this lesson
🏡 Whether that's learning if you don't have renter's insurance, your stuff isn't covered by your landlord's homeowner's insurance
🏡 or that every year you need to ensure your homeowner's policy reflects the increased value of your home
🚗 or the importance of spending more than 15 minutes on picking your car insurance policy
☠️ or just how affordable term life insurance is and why EVERYONE needs it
🩺 or learning the difference between an HSA and FSA

Insurance isn't the sexiest thing to talk about. But having the confidence and peace in knowing no matter what the future holds, you've got a plan in place is extremely sexy

With school starting up I thought I'd share again. (Also, look how cute my little guy is!)

How to determine your net worth:
- Add up all your assets (savings, retirement, home value, other investments)
- Subtract any liabilities (car loans, credit card debt, student loans, mortgage, any other debts)

Often people feel their self-worth is directly tied to their net worth. But here's the good news; it's not.
It doesn't matter if you have $10 in the bank or $1,000,000
It doesn't matter if you own a big, beautiful home or you're living in your mama's basement
It doesn't matter if your car is new with all the luxuries or your jalopy is being held together with duct tape and prayers

Everyone is worthy of love and respect no matter their financial standings. And you are loved, even if you don't have your p**p in a group yet. 1 John 4:9 "This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him".

If you feel you want to do better with your finances, send me a message. We'll get you outta your mama's basement and a car that doesn't require you to stick your arm out the window to signal a turn

This is my current Financial Peace University's debt (not including mortgages) and savings amounts going into week 2.
That's $50,329 average debt/household and $727.27 average savings/household.
Each week we update the numbers and track how much progress we're making as a group. Then on our last night, we celebrate how much debt the group has paid off and how much savings they've added.
My last class paid of $93,756 of debt in just 9 weeks!! I can't wait to see how this class does

I always encourage my clients, no matter where they are in their financial journey to find some way to be generous.
It doesn't have to be outrageous. Just something, even if its $10, even when it's hard.
I have found in my personal life, that every time I give, it always finds a way back to me.
Give to your church or look for charities that support a cause that you're passionate about.
If you feel like you'd love to be more generous but just don't have the space in your income to do it; let's set up a session to create a budget that can reflect your heart's desires.
And if you're a charity that would gladly welcome financial support, no matter the size, please tag your organization below

Almost $48,000 raised for Forgotten Angels and ECHO in just 30 days! I know both of those charities are grateful to everyone who put in so much time to make these events happen and all of our sponsors and donors who supported the events.
I am honored to have been a part of the race and proud to live in a community that shows up for each other.

We did it! 🎉 $47,897.43 RAISED!

When we say it takes a village, we mean it.

For 60 days straight, our committee of local small business owners went "boots on the ground" to plan, rally, and execute four incredible events throughout the month of June for the Fishhawk Valrico Chamber’s Annual Honorary Mayor Campaign.

Our mission from day one wasn’t just about a number—it was about shining a massive spotlight on two incredible organizations right here in our backyard: ECHO and Forgotten Angels.

To say we are thrilled is an understatement. This was grassroots, local-driven fundraising at its absolute finest, and it proved that amazing things happen when neighbors show up for neighbors. ❤️

THANK YOU TO OUR REMARKABLE COMMUNITY:
* To our selfless committee: A group of local small business owners who poured endless hours, late nights, and pure heart into ensuring every single event was a massive success.
* To our incredible sponsors: Who stepped up without hesitation to back our vision and provide the resources to make this campaign possible.
* To EVERY single person who showed up: Thank you for buying tickets, attending events, inviting your friends, and spreading the word. You made this happen.

While the campaign is officially over, the critical work that ECHO and Forgotten Angels do every day continues. We want to encourage every single one of our followers to stay engaged with them long-term.

Please take a second right now to give them a follow, stay tuned to their missions, and look for future ways to volunteer or support:

👉 Follow Forgotten Angels: Forgotten Angels

Thank you for locking arms with us, supporting small business, and showing what this community is truly made of. We are so incredibly proud to live and work alongside you all! 🇺🇸

People will utilize payday loans to help them financially until their next paycheck.
These loans are often very short term, just 2 to 4 weeks, with a large interest rate.
A $500 loan will likely come with $75 fee that will be auto drafted from your bank account on pay day. If you do not have the $575 you will incur an overdraft fee (typically $35) or have to renew the loan with an additional fee of $86.25.
It's so easy to fall into the vicious cycle of these loans that many states have banned them and even more states limit their use.
Do everything you can to avoid taking out a payday loan.
And if you need help getting out of a financial rut, I'd love to help. As always, free consultations

The average used car payment is $531/month and new car payment is $777/month while approximately 40% of Americans have less than $500 in savings.

We're so busy trying to look rich that we're robbing ourselves of being able to build wealth.
