Just a reminder:
By law, the IRS must wait until mid-February to issue refunds to taxpayers who claim the Earned Income Tax Credit or Child Tax Credit.

⭐️ IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING ADVANCE CHILD TAX CREDIT ⭐️

The IRS will send a notice (Letter 6419) closer to tax time in 2022 with the adjusted credit amount based on the advance payments already disbursed to you. Hold on to this letter because you'll need it when you file your 2021 income tax return if you need to return part of your payment.

This also applies if you opted out of receiving the advance credit in 2021. Remember you'll get the full amount when you file taxes in 2022.
