It's time to say GOODBYE and THANK YOU to our Board Chair Lisa Johnson with PDJ Accounting Services and Past Board Chair Todd Nestor with First Neighborhood Bank as their terms on the MOV Chamber Board are ending on December 31. We so appreciate all of their support in guiding the organization as members of our Board since 2020.

Have no fear - both will still be very involved with the Chamber.

We are seeking an experienced, reliable full time Payroll Specialist/Bookkeeper to join our growing company.

Payroll Specialist/Bookkeeper Requirements and Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent Bachelor’s' degree preferred.
3 or more years’ experience working in payroll or similar role.
Significant experience working in multi-state payroll is a plus.
Excellent computer skills and working experience with QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online preferred. Working experience with Microsoft Office applications required.
Strong bookkeeping skills include bank reconciliation for small business.
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
Aptitude for numbers and exceptional commitment to accuracy.
Team-player with excellent interpersonal skills.
Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks.

We are exempt from the shut down order, so clients can still drop their taxes off to be worked on. No appointments at this time, just drop offs and pick ups. New clients still welcome.

A wonderful night! What an honor to recieve this award!

Who is that one individual that you always see at Chamber events? Perhaps helping with registration, involved in our meetings, supporting fellow members, welcoming new members at ribbon cuttings or maybe there is even someone that you know of that has a "behind the scenes" type of involvement. We encourage you to nominate them for the 2018 Chamber Volunteer of the Year award! We also accept self-nominations.

The Chamber Volunteer of the Year Award is presented each year to a member who goes above and beyond in serving and supporting the Chamber. All of the past recipients of the this award take ownership of an activity on behalf of the Chamber-then they do what they do best and truly shine. Here at the Chamber, we are so fortunate to have so many amazing volunteers!
