Happy Monday! IRS has revised the 2026 Standard Mileage Rates as of 7/1/26. The revised standard mileage rates are 76 cents per business mile and 23.5 cents per mile for medical and moving purposes.

Scammers often target older adults, attempting to steal personal information through phone calls, emails or text messages pretending to be from the or other government agencies. During Older Americans Month, the IRS would like to remind you that we will NEVER:
• Threaten to involve local police or other law enforcement agencies
• Pressure for immediate action
• Demand immediate payment by wire transfer, gift cards or cryptocurrency
• Ask for credit, debit or gift card numbers over the phone.
