Most business owners talk to their accountant once a year, sometime around April, and spend the other eleven months guessing.
That is a hard way to run a company.
You make a hiring decision in June, buy a truck in August, take a distribution in October, and nobody tells you what any of it did to your tax bill until the return is already being prepared.
By then the year is closed. There is nothing left to fix.
We work the other way around. We look at your numbers through the year, flag the things worth talking about while you can still act on them, and make sure April is a formality instead of a surprise.
When was the last time your CPA called you before you called them?
