An amendment to a bill (-23 amendment to HB 4007) just posted this afternoon that takes away the right of the people to vote on local gas taxes. We need you to email your legislators now to voice opposition to this amendment!

We urge you to oppose the -23 amendment and preserve Oregonians’ right to vote on local gas taxes.

The amendment, introduced this afternoon with committee vote scheduled for 8 a.m. Monday and no hearing, would eliminate Oregonians' right to vote on city and county fuel tax increases
