10 Tax Free Days > Tax Free Weekend

This year Ohio has expanded its sales tax free weekend to ten days. From July 30th through August 8th consumers can enjoy tax-free purchases on eligible items priced up to $500, regardless of the total purchase amount.
Meals at dine-in restaurants are exempt from sales tax at this time as well (but you must eat in the restaurant).
