🗣️ DON’T PANIC IF YOU DON’T SEE A DATE YET!
If you don’t see a date yet, do not panic. The IRS is still actively updating accounts.
Here’s what you need to know 👇🏽
✅ If you see Code 846 on your transcript, that means REFUND APPROVED 🎉 That is a GREAT thing.
✅ “Where’s My Refund” updates on Saturdays for most weekly accounts.
âś… Refunds are issued in batches not everyone is funded at the same time.
Now let’s talk about that March 9, 2026 date 👀
Even if your account shows 3/9/26, there is a strong possibility you could receive it earlier next week. Many tax preparers received bank emails stating that large deposit batches are scheduled for next week.
So yes, that 3/9 date may just be a system date.
More than likely, many deposits will hit one day next week.
And yes, tax preparers receive funding lists directly from banks showing who is being paid out. Most of those updates come Friday evenings around 7 PM.
⏳ Keep in mind:
• IRS sends refunds in waves
• Banks may take 1–5 days to release funds
• “Approved” does not always mean “funded the same hour”
And respectfully… please don’t blow up your tax preparer’s phone. We do not control IRS processing. When your name hits the funding list, you will absolutely be notified.
Take a deep breath.
846 = Approved.
Deposits are coming.
Next week is expected to be a BIG one. đź’š
