51 years!
The first tax returns that I signed as Preparer were 1966! I spent the first 5 years working for Bill Larson at H&R Block in Warren and Niles. When we had our first child in 1971 I set up the home office that I ran until 2010 when I decided we needed more parking and I rented the Office on Main Street in Niles. My son finished his Accounting degree in 2002 and joined me in the office and we started taking new clients and got too busy for the home office. We moved to the present office at 158 North Road in Niles in Nov of 2015. The only help Mike and I have is my daughter, Mattie who is a full time RN and comes in to assist whenever she can. Since they both grew up in a tax office, it is second nature for them. Mike is a full time employee at Delphi too, Mattie is at St. Josephs Hospital, Eastland. I only work the office all year. We are a true Family Business and we take Taxes seriously. I take care of all accounting and payroll services but we are all educated and capable.
