A New Chapter for My Firm: Introducing the Tax Architect Approach
After more than 35 years as a CPA and two decades running my own firm, I've learned that great tax planning isn't just about how much you make. It's about how you make it, what you do with it, and how you protect what you've built.
My firm is now Kim Bey & Associates, PC, and I'm bringing our Tax Architect approach to the forefront.
Rather than looking at one tax return at a time, I look at the whole financial picture and design a coordinated strategy around three questions:
1. How do you make your money?
Business income, W-2 wages, partnerships, real estate, investments. We look at how each piece is structured and taxed, and identify opportunities to make everything work together more tax-efficiently.
2. What do you want to do with your money?
Invest in more real estate, acquire another business, build your dream home, fund your children's education, or retire on your terms.
We help identify opportunities to reduce unnecessary taxes and evaluate tax-advantaged strategies that align with your goals. The idea is simple: keep more of what you earn and put those savings to work building wealth, rather than spending money just to get a tax deduction.
3. How do you protect what you've built?
Building wealth is one thing. Preserving it and passing it on is another.
We coordinate with financial advisors, estate planning attorneys, and other specialists to help align your tax, investment, and estate strategies.
That's what being a Tax Architect means to me: looking at the whole picture, connecting the pieces, and designing the strategy before you make important financial decisions.
Saving on taxes is the starting point. What those savings help you accomplish is the real goal.
Pay exactly what you owe — nothing more.
That's the mission behind Keeping What's Yours.
If your business and investments have grown but your tax planning hasn't kept up, let's talk.
