Happy 22-year Anniversary to Mitch!

Since joining us in 2004, Mitch has been a cornerstone of our team, bringing extensive experience in accounting, management advisory, and strategic business consulting. He specializes in corporate, partnership, and personal tax planning, along with comprehensive financial statement preparation for individuals and businesses alike. Mitch is also an active member of the Iowa Society of Certified Public Accountants (ISCPA).

Beyond his professional work, Mitch is deeply invested in his community. He serves as Treasurer for Pack 153, contributes to the Durant Athletic and Music Boosters, and takes part in his church's outreach programs. When he's not at the office or volunteering, you can find him playing a round of golf or proudly cheering on his children at their activities. A proud 2022 graduate of Wartburg College, Leah earned her Bachelor of Arts degrees in Accounting and Business Management with a specialization in Finance. Before joining us full-time, she spent two summers as a LattaHarris intern, gaining insightful and valuable hands-on experience.

Outside of work, Leah enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling and exploring new places, and lending a helping hand on her family's farm whenever they need her. Thank you, Leah, for all of your hard work and dedication. We hope you have a fantastic anniversary!

Happy 1st Anniversary to Toni!

Toni Dietz is a CPA who brings deep-rooted agricultural experience to her work at LattaHarris. A graduate of the University of Northern Iowa with both a bachelor’s degree in accounting and economics and a Master of Accounting degree, she specializes in individual and business taxation. She works extensively with the agribusiness industry, supporting pork producers, dairy and cattle farmers, and row crop operations. Having grown up on a farm and now raising her own family on one, Toni combines lifelong personal passion with professional expertise to serve her clients.

Outside of work, Toni enjoys spending time with her husband and two young children, reading mystery novels, and working in her garden. Join us in celebrating Toni's first of many anniversaries with LattaHarris!

Driving innovation and growth at our latest Sharp Shooters meeting! 🚀

Our Sharp Shooter leaders recently met up at Fore Fun Events to discuss what has planned for the future. Our CEO, Chip Chaon, jumped straight into The Great Transformation, discussing how firms are evolving. We then explored an Introduction to CAS and shared actionable strategies for mastering personal branding and networking. 💡

To cap off the learning sessions, the team dove into an interactive Real Colors activity to sharpen our communication and teamwork skills. We wrapped up an incredible day by spending the afternoon connecting, unwinding, and celebrating our growth together. It's always special getting these leaders together to connect and collaborate on what's next. 🤝

Please join us in welcoming Ali Cain back to the team as a Staff Accountant! 🎉

Ali is a summa cm laude graduate of St. Ambrose University, where she earned her Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and Business Management, plus a minor in Entrepreneurship. After completing a public accounting internship with us in 2024, she is thrilled to be back full-time!

Growing up on a hog and grain farm, combined with her experience as a small business owner, gave Ali a deep-rooted passion for agriculture. She loves helping ag producers and small business owners handle their tax and accounting needs so they can focus on what they do best.

When she's not crunching numbers, you can find Ali baking, playing volleyball, enjoying the outdoors, or spending time with family and friends. Welcome back, Ali! 🌾📊

This Thursday, the team gathered at Fore Fun Events ⛳ for our Young Guns meeting, and it was an absolute blast! After kicking things off with some icebreakers, we dove straight into impactful discussions surrounding strategic Tax Billing 📊, the game-changing advantages of AI in our industry 🤖, and powerful ways to elevate our Personal Branding and professional Networking 🤝.

To tie it all together, the team used Real Colors 🎨 to elevate our communication and client service 👥. We wrapped up the day by enjoying the afternoon together and deepening our connections. It's always rewarding to watch this group grow, collaborate, and have a blast along the way!
