Sometimes a routine update leads to an unexpected discovery.

A client recently let us know they had a new bank account. As we worked through updating their information across their bookkeeping, payroll, and billing, we noticed they were paying our invoices with a credit card that wasn't reflected in their QuickBooks.

That made us curious.

We discovered the card wasn't just being used to pay Count On—it was also being used for a significant amount of business expenses.

The payments to that card had totaled nearly $90,000.

Those expenses weren't making it into the books, which meant the business wasn't getting the tax benefit of those expenses.

We've all heard it...

"It's only off by a few dollars." 😅

Sometimes the biggest tax savings don't come from finding another deduction.

A new client came to us after their bookkeeping had already been completed. As we began reviewing their books, something didn't look right.
