This is so exciting. Laura Story’s new single just dropped. And Ruthie and I had the privilege to record on the single. Ruthie played bari sax 🎷 and I played trombone. It’s very much background music 🎶 but we love Laura Story Music so much and Perimeter Church too, that it was an honor to have that opportunity. Harry Dawg won't be joining me, but on Friday night from 6-8pm on College Avenue in downtown Athens, I'll be playing my trombone to help fundraise for the Christmas Red Kettle of The Salvation Army of Athens, GA. I'll be doing a bunch of popular Christmas songs on my trombone, in Karaoke style. If you are in Athens and you find yourself in downtown, follow the sounds of my trombone and drop by and say hi. I'll also be playing for Salvation Army the next night - Saturday night - from 6-8pm in front of Belk at The Forum Peachtree Corners. Hope to see you at one of those spots. Last item: There are folks that are really hurting at Christmas time. I hope you'll consider giving a dollar or two in a Salvation Army Christmas Red Kettle the next time you pass by one.
