The IRS has started releasing IP PINs by mail.

AND the IRS IP PIN website will be live tomorrow — 01/06/2026.

If you were waiting to file and were stuck because of an IP PIN, help is coming.

Remember:
• If you were issued an IP PIN (for any reason), your return cannot be filed without it
• Missing IP PIN = delays or rejection
• This is a security lock on your tax return

Once the site goes live tomorrow, you’ll be able to retrieve your IP PIN online and you can file immediately.
