💙 What a great time at our EWH Company Retreat last week!

A blast was had by all who were able to attend as our teams from all locations came together for a day filled with celebration, connection, and fun.

We kicked things off with delicious food at Flat Iron Tap while recognizing team members with awards and acknowledgements for their outstanding work and dedication. 🏆👏

The celebration continued with a beautiful boat cruise on Lake Geneva—complete with great views, lots of laughs, and even better company. ☀️🚤

Our team truly is the best, and there’s nothing better than having the opportunity to bring everyone together for some well-deserved team bonding.

Terry, Teresa, and Jon, along with one of our awesome clients, had a great time at the Wisconsin Restaurant Association Southern Shootout at Milford Hills Hunt Club on May 13th!🎯

CP53E Causing Confusion ❓

Clients are reporting an increase in CP53E notices referencing “missing direct deposit information,” even when a return shows a balance due. This appears to be a system-generated message tied to missing banking information, not the taxpayer’s actual outcome. This has raised questions about accuracy and whether action is needed.

Current IRS guidance be located at: https://www.irs.gov/individuals/understanding-your-cp53e-notice

If you are unable to validate your bank account, the IRS will issue a paper check after six weeks.
